Notices in Usage - Available Fonts Following fonts are available in the use of this printer driver with Compuprint printers. 1. TrueType Font 2. WIFE Font 3. Printer Font (Not available when "Landscape" is selected in "Orientation" of "Layout" Tab.) - White Text Printer Font printed in white (Reverse Printing) may not correctly be printed in some application software. Fractions smaller than 1/6 inch is ignored. Please be careful with it especially when continuous forms are used. - Character Set Since the character sets programmed in the printers are different from that of Windows 2000, printed characters may be different from the displayed characters. Please select True Type Font in such cases. =========================================================================== 4. Notices in Printer Settings When you need the high speed printing, please select "Draft" in "Printing Quality". (Printing quality is rougher than "Letter Quality" in this case, though.) When you need the printing accuracy in vertical alignment especially for vertical line printing, please select "Letter Quality (Unidirectional)" or "Draft (Unidirectional)" Vertical lines can be aligned more accurately. Please set the Printing Start Position to 6.4 mm (Default setting) from the top edge of the paper. When following setting is selected in "Paper Source", the Printing Start Position needs to be defined manually. To do that, please feed the paper to the desired starting position (top edge) by Paper micro down button. "Lower Tractor (without margin)" or "Upper Tractor (without margin)" or "Printer Setting (without margin)" =========================================================================== 5. Installation of Printer Driver 5-1. Installation through Plug and Play Plug and Play setting is available on Compuprint printers. When the printer is automatically detected by your computer, "Found New Hardware Wizard" starts to work. Please just follow the instruction of the Wizard for the installation of this printer driver. 5-2. Installation NOT through Plug and Play To set up the Printer Driver Software, please select "Start" -> "Settings" -> "Printers" from the Windows task bar. - Installation process is as follows, 1) Please double click the "Add Printer" icon to open the [Add Printer Wizard]. 2) When the picture of "Add Printer Wizard" appears, please click "Next". 3) Please select "Local" and deselect "Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer" Then please click "Next". 4)
